Quarterly ACC Recap: July-Sept





During the 3rd quarter of ACC guided it's clients through the emotional parts of leadership. We explored essential concepts for managing emotional and mental well-being in leadership and life.


We began with depersonalization—learning to separate our self-worth from external situations. Through Story vs. Reality and Respond vs. React, we discussed the power of choosing thoughtful responses over-reactive impulses. The Emotional Pendulum Swing and Impact vs. Intention helped us understand the effects of emotional extremes and the importance of aligning our actions with our true intentions.


We then explored the Emotional Toll leadership takes focusing on repairing relationships and recognizing when emotional fatigue becomes overwhelming. We delved into the Funk Cycle and Burnout to identify signs of emotional exhaustion, understanding how unchecked stress can lead to Emotional Injury.


Shifting into self-care, we embraced Acceptance as a grounding principle and unpacked Self-Care in Action. We debunked common Myths, redefined Self-Care as a proactive practice, and reviewed Self-Care Models such as Maslow’s Hierarchy of Needs and the Basic Quadrant Model. Together, these tools emphasized creating sustainable habits for well-being, recognizing that genuine self-care is a vital part of a balanced, fulfilling life.

On Dec 7th, from 2:30-6:30pm, we will kick off the New Year with a dynamic workshop designed to celebrate your achievements and set the stage for future success! ACC will have an inspiring session where we'll:

Celebrate Your Wins: Reflect on and celebrate everything you've accomplished over the past year. We'll share highlights and acknowledge the hard work and dedication that got us here.

Create Vision Boards: Tap into your creativity by putting together vision boards that reflect your dreams and aspirations for the year ahead. Visualizing your goals helps keep you focused and motivated.

Set Goals: Define clear, actionable goals for the upcoming year. We'll guide you through the process of setting SMART goals (Specific, Measurable, Achievable, Relevant, Time-bound) to ensure your ambitions are within reach.

Build Habits: Identify and establish positive habits that support your goals. Learn practical strategies for habit formation and how to integrate them into your daily routine for lasting change.
