As in all Marquis Who’s Who biographical volumes, individuals profiled are selected on the basis of current reference value. Factors such as position, noteworthy accomplishments, visibility, and prominence in a field are all taken into account during the selection process. We are pleased to announce Ashley Coffey has been selected and inducted into Marquis Who’s Who for our 2022-2023 edition.
An established entrepreneur, Ms. Coffey founded Ashley Coffey Coaching in July 2022 as her public coaching business after taking private clients since Jan 2020 through her own company Bridge the Gap Consulting LLC. Bridge the Gap Consulting LLC served the corporate real estate sector on many levels, mainly working closely with several Keller Williams (KW) Realty offices to uncover what business strategies were not working. Ms. Coffey would help these offices come up with a more effective system by exploring their training methods, marketing strategies, leadership styles, retention methods, and other aspects of the business. Ms. Coffey worked directly with the leadership in these offices to create a well-rounded work environment that focused on culture and community first. As a result, Ms. Coffey influenced cultural change, improved operating systems and coded conflict management resolutions through training and education. These offices experienced higher engagement among employees, successful recruitment, and lasting retention.
The more Ms. Coffey built these inclusion platforms, the more her passion grew for coaching leadership methodology. Thus, Ashley Coffey Coaching was born as a public entity. ACC supports feminine leaders in discovering their true confidence, self-expression, and how to take a stand that inspires others effectively through a reflective coaching education program. ACC does this by providing a safe and supportive platform for women to look and reflect on their own leadership, authenticity, and impact in the world. ACC provides female clients with leadership expertise to better navigate daily experiences as women in business by giving them life-changing tools that support and empower them. Ms. Coffey fosters a community where women can share their ideals, while also learning how to self-reflect, grow, and become the most authentic versions of themselves.
While establishing her coaching career, Ms. Coffey also founded NEXUS Community Fitness & Performance Training in Colorado Springs, Colorado, in September 2020. A gym that she describes as, “by the people, for the people,” NEXUS offers a myriad of technique trainings, weightlifting, strength and conditioning, yoga, and other classes daily, while also offering personal training of all kinds. NEXUS specializes in educating clients on injury prevention and corrective exercise throughout their fitness journey. Additionally, Ms. Coffey offers mindset coaching inside these NEXUS programs all while training dancers from Latisha Hardy Dance. Dance fitness training is Ms. Coffey’s specialty, as she believes cross-training will prevent injury and allow dancers to continue their passion for life. Ms. Coffey is a prime example of that herself, as she is still competitively dancing on a professional team at age 32, starting when she was 13. Ms. Coffey’s background in leadership makes her programs unique, specialized, and well-rounded for all of her members.
Ms. Coffey gets her leadership training qualifications from her distinguished studies throughout her college career. As an alumnus of the University of Colorado at Colorado Springs, Ms. Coffey earned a Bachelor of Science in Sociology, Communicational Leadership, and Behavioral Science, in 2013. While pursuing her degree, she began leading domestic violence support groups for women on campus. Continuing her studies, Ms. Coffey earned a Master of Arts in Sociology in 2019, with certifications in Diversity, Inclusion, and Teaching. During this time, she gained experience teaching in the department of Sociology and the department of Women and Ethnic Studies for undergraduates. Ms. Coffey contributes her ability to create empowered communities from the difficult conversations that took place when discussing privilege and oppression inside these classrooms.
Before Ms. Coffey’s entrepreneurship of 2020, Ms. Coffey gained corporate experience with Keller Williams Partners as the Director of Agent Services from 2017 to 2020. This is where she learned how to navigate team dynamics, personality conflicts, project management, recruiting, and how to get others to buy into a collective vision. Ms. Coffey was a part of growing this office to double its size and contributed to it launching a second office location. These efforts led to Ms. Coffey winning the Regional Growth Partner Award in 2019.
During an earlier stage of her career, Ms. Coffey worked as a mental health counselor with a juvenile center called Third Way Center in Lowry, Colorado, before being promoted to lead mental health counselor from 2014 to 2016. Ms. Coffey worked with high-risk youth and was responsible for management in mental health illnesses, addiction counseling, dating and domestic violence in the home, gang involvement, sexual assaults, Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder, crisis intervention, independent living skills, and medication distribution. As a part of a team dealing with high-risk youth, Ms. Coffey believes her critical thinking and fast processing skills were developed from her impactful days as a counselor.
