✨ March Recap: Protecting Your Energy

This month at ACC, we focused on the relationships that shape our lives and the responsibility we have to lead ourselves within them. Not by controlling others, but by becoming intentional about who we allow close, how we show up, and what we are no longer available for. 💛

🔹 Sacred Circle: We explored the concept of your Sacred Circle… the people closest to you who directly influence your energy, identity, and growth. Alignment within this circle is not about perfection, but about shared values, mutual respect, and emotional safety. Who you surround yourself with matters. Your circle should reflect where you are going, not keep you tied to who you used to be.

🔹 Energy Budgeting: We shifted self-care into something more practical: managing your energy as a resource. Just like finances, where you spend, invest, or leak your energy, determines your overall well-being. We identified where energy is being drained through over-giving, over-explaining, and misaligned relationships, and how intentional boundari

es create sustainable energy.

🔹 Community Cuts: This was one of the most challenging conversations. We discussed what it means to set boundaries with people who no longer align, even when those people are family. Growth sometimes requires distance. Not from a place of punishment, but from self-respect. Choosing alignment over obligation is an act of self-leadership.

🔹 Trauma Bonds: We unpacked how trauma bonds form through cycles of inconsistency, emotional highs and lows, and unmet needs. These bonds can feel intense, familiar, and hard to break, even when they are not healthy. Awareness is the first step in recognizing when connection is rooted in a pattern rather than true alignment.

🔹 Codependency & Misalignment: We brought attention to how codependency shows up when we step out of alignment with ourselves. Over-functioning, people-pleasing, and abandoning our own needs to maintain connection are all signals. Codependency is not about caring too much. It is about losing yourself in the process.

🌱 The ACC Takeaway: March reminded us that relationships are not meant to cost us ourselves. Alignment requires awareness, boundaries, and the courage to choose differently. When you honor your energy, your values, and your truth, you naturally begin to build relationships that reflect that same level of integrity. And that is where real connection begins. ✨

If these topics resonate and you’re ready to step into more aligned relationships, we’re here to support you inside ACC.
