This month at ACC, we dove deep into the difference between pain and identity 💥 — and how we choose what stays and what heals.

🔹 Victimization vs Victimhood

We explored how being hurt, mistreated, or wronged (victimization) is a real experience, yet when we stay stuck in that identity (victimhood), it can hold us back from healing, growth, and personal power.

🔹 Victimhood Mindset vs Acceptance Mindset

We learned that the victimhood mindset says, “This happened to me, and I have no power.” While the acceptance mindset says, “This happened, and I get to choose how I move forward.”One leads to looping, the other to freedom 🕊️.

🔹 The Impact of Victimhood

This mindset can sneak in as blame, resentment, helplessness, or even people-pleasing. Over time, it can affect your relationships, your confidence, and how you show up in your purpose. We don’t bypass pain here—we meet it with love and accountability. 💛

🔹 How to Recognize Victimhood

We practiced noticing where we give our power away—like replaying past stories, staying in cycles of “why me,” or waiting for someone else to change. Awareness is step one. Ownership is the gateway to transformation. 👏
